DIY GLITTER TEALIGHT JARS

I first tried making these gorgeous tealight jars for my birthday party recently. These look fantastic at night and are cheap and simple to make. Plus, it’s a great way to recycle old jars! I stuck with silver glitter for mine but any colour or a mix would look great too.

You will need:

  • A bunch of old jars (as many as you like, you can do all the same size and shape or have a variety)

  • Craft or PVA glue

  • Paintbrush

  • Glitter

  • Water

  • Tealight candles

How to:

  • Make sure the jars are clean and free of old stickers.

  • Mix up about two tablespoons of glue with a tablespoon of water.

  • Brush the glue mix onto the inside of the jar, covering as much or as little of the jar as you like. Remember it will probably run a little.

  • Pour in a bit of glitter and then turn the jar around so the glitter covers all the glue.

  • Allow them to dry and then place small tea light candle in them.

  • Light the candles and enjoy your handmade sparkly jars!
