A terrarium is simply a small, easy to maintain garden. They are an awesome addition to any room and could even be a nice present to make. You can be as creative as you like with these. I only made mine with one plant as they were quite small however you can add more and even put in little decorations too. Try experimenting with recycled items like glass vases or wide jars. Have fun!
Step 1. Select a glass jar, vase or other item you want to create your terrarium in.

Step 2. Add soil or potting mix. If you’ve got a shallow pot, be careful not to overfill it.
Step 3. Place your chosen plant into the soil. If you’re having trouble picking plants, look for small succulents or cacti.

Step 4. Fill in your terrarium with a bit more soil and water your plant in.
Step 5. Cover with rocks. Enjoy!

We'd love to see how your terrariums turned out! Send photos to daisy_magazine@hotmail.com for us to post on our instagram/facebook feed!
