Earlier this week, Triple J revealed the long-awaited results of their annual Top 10 Albums poll as voted by listeners Australia-wide. The official list boasted a strong representation of homegrown artists, with 5 of the 10 being awarded to local musicians.

It comes as no surprise that Grammy nominees Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett and Kendrick Lamar feature in the top three, with Tame Impala reigning supreme for the second time, with their sophomore album Lonerism topping the poll back in 2012.

Courtney Barnett’s J Award-winning Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit followed closely behind in second place, while Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly took out third place. The Rubens, Gang of Youths and San Cisco were other Australian artists to have graced this year’s list.

Here is a look at Triple J’s 2015 Album Poll results, as voted by you: 1. Tame Impala - Currents
